The Aureole Diamond, named after the radiating field of light that surrounds sacred figures throughout old European religious art. Its clear stone references the use of light within paintings of Mary, Christ and the saints — an element of religious art that has heavily influenced the way I look at design and create for EC.

As the traditional birthstone of April, Aureole Diamond can represent your birth month, but like every EC stone, that doesn't have to be why you choose it.

Wear it for someone, your faith, a memory, what the idea of light means to you, or simply because it's the stone you were naturally drawn to.

Bail Size & Chain Compatibility
Each pendant features a 7.80mm V-bail, which comfortably fits most chains. This size allows you to pair the pendant with a wide range of styles and thicknesses:

Works perfectly with standard cable chains up to ~5mm width
Fits curb chains up to ~5–6mm
Fits figaro and rope chains up to ~4–5mm
Compatible with box chains up to ~4mm
Ideal for both lightweight everyday chains and statement chains

The open V-shape gives the pendant more movement and lets wider chains sit naturally, without bunching or resistance.

If you’re unsure, a general rule is: if your chain is 6mm or under, it will fit comfortably through our bail.
