The Motif Crucifix x Eleftheria Emerald pairs one of the most enduring symbols in European jewellery with a stone long associated with protection and devotion.
The Motif Crucifix draws from traditional European designs, defined by its sculptural form, soft Baroque curves, and engraved detailing. Its relief finish reveals the hand-crafted nature of the piece, designed to feel vintage and reminiscent of jewellery passed down through generations.
It's paired here with our Eleftheria Emerald, representing the May birthstone and named as a tribute to my mum, Effie.
Her Greek name, Eleftheria, means freedom — but the colour itself is just as personal. Deep emerald green has been one of her favourite colours for as long as I can remember. You'll find it in what she wears, the things she owns and throughout little corners of our family home.
So when it came time to create our emerald stone, there was really only one name I could give it.
Together, the two pieces continue what the EC Birthstone Stacks have always been about: taking something inspired by the past and giving you the ability to make its meaning completely your own.
