Product info:

The St George Frame references an enduring figure in European visual history, shaped by Greek and Eastern Mediterranean culture.

Traditionally appearing in relief work and medallion jewellery, St George became a symbol of strength and resilience carried through form rather than ceremony. The piece is informed in part by Greek heritage on my mum’s side, where this imagery was familiar within family heirlooms.

The custom frame draws from Baroque-inspired European design, with sculpted edges and softened detailing that echo mid-century jewellery.

Layered with the Sapphire Sea Stone, the deep blue reflects Mediterranean heritage and references a 1940s–1960s European tradition of stacking framed figures and gemstones as markers of identity.
